敘事文本結合問題探究導向教學在幼兒行為輔導課程之實踐成效

Effects of Combining Narrative Texts and Problem-Oriented Teaching in Child Behavioral Guidance Courses

摘要


本研究採多元質性與量化分析,探討7年來應用敘事文本結合問題探究導向教學,在教授幼保系四技與二技「幼兒行為輔導」課程的實踐成效。主要結論如下:一、敘事文本可作為課程理論轉化的重要教材;多元敘事文本的選擇,需具備屬於幼兒行為輔導範圍、內容必須感動或帶給學生教育啟發、能對應理論、能與時俱進,並貼近教保現場或學生生活等五項要素。二、採用問題探究導向教學策略,包括每章節列出不同程度的重點問題,讓學生積極參與;連結理論與專業行動的作業,讓學生自我探究等,經由課程實踐可提高學生的學習動機,亦可獲致良好的教學成效,包括學生於五項作業的收穫與正向評價、學生於期末課程回饋的肯定、學生持續相關的研究專題並獲獎等。本選修課亦多次成為全校教學優良前五名,並兩次獲得全校性教師教學優良獎。本研究最後提出建議供相關授課教師教學參考。

The Department of Child Care and Education has offered "Child Behavioral Guidance" as an elective course for students of 2- and 4-year technical college courses. In this elective course, narrative texts and problem-oriented teaching methods are combined. This study investigated the effects of the pedagogical implementation of the course over a 7-year period by employing both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The main findings are as follows: (1) Narrative texts can be used as an essential teaching material for the transformation of curriculum theories. The narrative texts selected must fulfill five elements: the content must be up-to-date, be related to child behavioral guidance, provide educational inspiration to students, correspond with theory, and pertain to preschool teaching or students' daily lives. (2) In terms of practical effects, the implementation of problem-oriented teaching in the course, including encouraging students to answer key chapter questions and apply theories and practices to design projects, can improve students' learning motivation and teaching effectiveness. As a result, students of this course have obtained positive evaluation results in five assignments, given positive feedback at the end of the course, and received awards for related research. This elective course has received a top-five ranking in the excellent teaching award several times, and twice won college-wide teaching excellence awards. Finally, the research findings provide useful information for related lecturers.
