廟宇木雕裝飾「對場作」之研究-以屏東北勢寮保安宮為例

摘要


「對場」又稱「拼場」,是匠師間既合作又競爭的一種營建方式。其將待建的建築或依中軸線為界分成左右兩部分,或依前後區分為兩部分,由兩組匠師在同一時空下分別負責施作。雙方在同一工程項目中同場競技,按各自工法施作,賽技術亦賽巧思,最後再對接起來,形成一完整的整體。因此,在同一棟建築中,包含著意趣不一、甚至大相逕庭的建築手法。本文以日治昭和二年(1927)台灣本土匠師黃龜理及大陸溪底匠師楊秀興兩位名匠對場之作北勢寮保安宮為例,細究對場作裝飾之特色及匠師在操作時隱含的意涵與企圖。

This paper describes the two-team competing construction method for wooden buildings. This method is also called the rival building method. In this approach the building under construction is divided by central lines into two parts, either left-right two-team construction or front-back two-team construction. The two parts of the building are completed by two teams of competing craftsmen working simultaneously using their own methods, techniques and designs until the final form is integrated. As a result, the finished architecture may contain different designs and methods. This paper takes the Two-team Competing Wooden Construction in Bao-An Temple in Bei-Shi-Lioa as an example. This temple was built in 1927 by two famous craftsmen: Gui-Li Huang from Taiwan and Xiu-Xing Yang from China.
