桃園縣觀音鄉保障宮研究

摘要

觀音地區由於先天自然環境不利於農業拓墾，觀音地區「三塊厝」在康熙以前可說是荒草漫漫之地。雖然雍正、乾隆時期拓墾人潮大批移入，開發速度仍十分緩慢。在這麼惡劣的環境中要求生存，無論是生病或心理上的需求，便只能求助於神明。民間信仰中的神明在台灣漸趨融合且普遍。 媽祖神明信仰在觀音鄉的傳布，一開始是富有地方性的靈驗傳說來傳播。從牆上捐贈名單來看，保障宮歷經時代的變遷，村民對媽祖信仰的虔誠並沒有減弱之勢。隨著社會變遷，媽祖廟宇的配祀神與同祀神亦隨著社會需求的不同而有所調整。保障宮透過祭祀組織的運作，更加強了社群內部的團結性。保障宮每年的大型宗教活動，促進地區經濟與觀光事業，亦藉著宗教活動的溝通互動過程，跨越彼此的界線，保障宮的祭祀區域就逐漸擴大了。 地方菁英透過支持參與寺廟的具體行動，展現自己的才能，也藉此提升自己在地方上的聲望及地位。寺廟是中國建築藝術與民間文化的展現與延續所在，與地方文教息息相關。除了供信徒們欣賞之餘，闡述的歷史典故有傳承知識的意義，廟會演戲通常也具有教忠教孝的功能。保障宮也致力於地方慈善事業的推動，以寺廟的財力從事社會服務，以另一種方式關懷社會。

Due to the innate natural environment, the Guanyin area was unfavorable to agricultural reclamation.It was also the land of weeds long before the Kangxi era. In Yongzheng and Qianlong period, although reclamation of the crowd a large number of moved, development speed was still very slow. Requirements to survive in such inclement environment, Illness or mental needs, and only turn to the gods. Folk beliefs in deities in Taiwan is becoming integrated and universally.
Mazu deity belief was spreaded in the Guanyin Township, the beginning was full of local efficacious legend. After changing times ,Villagers on the devotion of the Mazu belief were no weakening trend from the wall donation list. With social change, With Sishen and with the Sishen of the Bao Zhang Temple were adjusted with the social needs of different. Bou Zhang Temple was through the ritual organization of the operation, more stepped up the solidarity of the community. Annual large-scale religious activities of the Bao Zhang Temple promotes regional economic and tourism,and also by the religious activities in public communication.Finally, The sacrifice regional of the Bou Zhang Temple gradually expanded.
The local elites, through concrete actions to support participation in the temple, to show their talents and to enhance their own prestige and status of the local. The temple is a Chinese architectural art and folk culture show and the continuation of lies, is closely related with the local culture and education. In addition to apart for believers to appreciate, described the historical allusion heritage of the significance of knowledge and theatricals of the temple are Usually have to teach filial piety and righteousness. The Bou Zhang Temple dedicated to local charities to promote、Engaged in social service resources of the temple,and Caring for the community in another way.
