As an important way of innovation, business model innovation has become the research focus of scholars at home and abroad in recent years. Among them, the research on the integration of social network and business model innovation has become a research focus in the field of business model. However, because the theory of social network itself is rich and complex, there is no clear theoretical framework for how social networks affect business model innovation. Therefore, this study firstly reviews the existing related literature and summarizes the specific factors that drive enterprise business model innovation from the perspective of social network theory, which can be summarized into three aspects: social network embedding, social capital and network capability. Secondly, this paper summarizes the mechanism of social network factors on business model innovation. Finally, this paper puts forward the future research directions.
