With China's economy entering a high‐quality development stage, the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that we should accelerate the industrial transformation and breakthrough, build a modern industrial system, promote new industrialization, and achieve a manufacturing power. The private economy in Wenzhou is developed. At present, it is facing the urgent situation of industrial structure transformation and upgrading around the five traditional industries. As one of the five traditional pillar industries in Wenzhou, the electrical industry actively adapts to the new market formats, and its production and operation rise against the trend. The industry continues to maintain a strong momentum of development. In the process of industrial transformation and upgrading, with the integration of new technologies and traditional industries, the electrical industry is in urgent need of new marketing talents to adapt to the transformation and upgrading development of enterprises, which puts forward new demands for talents and puts more emphasis on talent innovation. Therefore, in this research, we will comprehensively use the methods of literature, field survey and interview to investigate the demand for marketing talents in Wenzhou electrical industry, analyze the demand for marketing talents in the electrical industry from the perspective of industrial transformation and upgrading, and provide feasible and effective suggestions for Wenzhou electrical enterprises, local governments and professional colleges.
