大學另類教育之博雅理念與實踐

摘要


正當社會廣為接納,以一個明確的教育理念為基礎,而開展不同於主流體制的另類學校,基本上我們的教育,已然產生本質性的轉變。原來自由而民主、自主而學習與自律而探究之學習模式,得以透過理念教育之翻轉更新,成為造就今日實驗教育一片欣欣向榮的重要推手。本研究定調於反省現今大學所謂好的教育,與思維如何在另類教育中開展以學習者為主體,為永恆而教育之實驗大學起始,就建構實驗大學之博雅教育的全人圖像,並檢視實驗大學如何超克現階段博雅教育之挑戰,及落實博雅教育未來發展的重要議題與教育使命作結。而以分析另類教育的意涵、反思大學端實施另類教育的可行性、闡述博雅教育之理念與實踐之典範,與檢視實驗大學之博雅教育的時代價值等面向為主要研究目的。研究發現,另類教育自我導向式學習之特質,其實就是博雅教育核心理念的具體實踐。而過度重視學習者需求和日常即刻需要等進步主義所衍生之流弊缺失,正反映博雅教育的時代需要。本研究亦指出,台灣確實需求一所為未來與永恆而教育之高教學府;一所能夠深刻落實涵泳智德,旨在培育具備清晰且嚴謹思辨能力之自由人。而此未來學校之價值格調,亦是強調心靈的自由解放,開展穩固學科且兼具課程之廣度與深度之多元適性教育,並藉由探索與究研能夠理解與接軌世界,而成就睿智思考與行動之終身學習範型。

As the society widely accepted, based on a clear idea of education, and the development of alternative schools different from the mainstream system, basically our education, has produced a fundamental change. The original learning mode of freedom and democracy, independent learning and self-disciplined exploration, through the transformation and renewal of concept education, has become an important driving force for the flourishing of today's experimental education. Set the tone of this research in reflection now university so-called good education, and thinking about how to develop in learners in alternative education as the main body, starting, the experiment of education university for eternity is construct holistic image experiment of liberal education in university, and examine the experiment at the university of how super g challenge of liberal arts education at the present stage, and the implementation of the liberal arts education for the future development of important issues and end education mission. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of alternative education, to reflect on the feasibility of implementing alternative education in universities, to expatiate on the concept and practice of liberal education, and to examine the value of liberal education in experimental universities. It is found that the characteristic of self-directed learning in alternative education is the concrete practice of the core concept of liberal arts education. The lack of disadvantages derived from progressivism, such as overemphasis on the needs of learners and the immediate needs of daily life, is a reflection of the needs of The Times in liberal education. The study also points out that Taiwan really needs a higher education institution for the future and eternity. A school that is capable of deeply implementing the virtues of self-restraint aims at cultivating free men with clear and rigorous thinking. The value of the future school is to emphasize the liberation of the mind, to carry out a multi-adaptive education with the breadth and depth of the curriculum, to understand and connect with the world through exploration and research, and to achieve a life-long learning paradigm of intelligent thinking and action.
