The Chinese culture emphasizes the concept that wise men know how to protect themselves well. Risk management can be found in the most ancient classic books. Although honesty is a virtue, simple people are easily to be deceived. Laozi stated that ＂sincere words are not fine; fine words are not sincere.＂ The essence of the concept that wise men know how to protect themselves well is the value of life. Therefore, we should cherish life and protect ourselves from preventable harms. Let alone meaningless sacrifices.
