Smart society is a social form driven by technological innovation. Such a social background naturally challenges social governance in the new era. Social governance needs to improve the coping ability of a smart society. Artificial intelligence technology can provide robots and other intelligent systems with the ability to participate in social life and provide public services independently or semi-independently. Deep learning and self-determination make them "subjective" in a sense. The scientific and technological achievements represented by the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, etc. have caused a series of changes in the economic and social fields, changed people's production and lifestyle, and promoted the society to become informatized, digitalized, and intelligent. As a superstructure, social governance must adapt to changes in social and economic foundations, give back to social existence, and better promote social development. Therefore, to meet the smart society and explore countermeasures as soon as possible is a new research topic that social governance should start.
