從空間的紀錄到空間的記憶-敘事設計作為攝影課程的實踐

摘要


室內設計學系的攝影課程,是技術導向的專業課程,課程的宗旨,使學生在課堂中學習攝影的觀念與技術,並能應用在未來的就業職場上。「敘事設計」則是說故事的方法,本課程藉由敘事設計的課程安排,提升學生影像的敘事能力,並結合「服務學習」課程,讓學生能以課程上所學習的專業,投身在社區服務中,產生出互惠互利的學習模式,進而認知社會責任與積極向上的人生觀。服務學習的對象為桃園中壢的新住民,與地方社區團隊合作,讓學生使用攝影的專業提供社區影像紀錄的服務,並藉由影像敘事的手法,提升影像紀錄的品質,從原為空間紀錄工具的攝影,成為空間記憶的媒介。最後則透過相片的展示與互相評分的安排,除傳達桃園中壢的新住民議題外,也能提升學生在影像上的鑑賞能力。具體的學習成果為1.攝影實務經驗的提升2.影像解讀能力的提升3.身體力行的參與社區活動4.作品的展示與評分機制,反思服務學習的參與。

The photography course of the Department of Interior Design is a technically oriented professional course. The purpose of the study is to enable students to learn the concepts and techniques of photography in the classroom. It can be applied in the future job market. "Narrative design" is the method of storytelling. This course is designed to enhance students' visual narrative skills through a narrative design curriculum; In addition, the "Service Learning" curriculum allows students to use their professional studies to engage in community service, creating a mutually beneficial learning model, To recognize social responsibility and a positive outlook on life, The service-learning target is the new aborigines in Chungli, Taoyuan, and cooperates with local community teams, allowing students to use their photography expertise to provide community image documentation services. Through the technique of video narrative, the quality of video recording is enhanced, and photography, originally a tool for spatial recording, becomes a medium for spatial memory. Finally, through the photo exhibition and mutual grading arrangement, the students will not only convey the new aboriginal issues of Taoyuan Chungli but also enhance their ability to appreciate images. The specific learning outcomes are 1. improvement of practical experience in photography 2. improvement of image interpretation skills 3. physical participation in community activities 4. presentation of works and mutual evaluation mechanism, and reflection on service learning participation.
