影像空間構成之解讀-以《紀錄28號》森山大道的攝影作品集為例

Interpretation on Spatial Composition of Images - A case study on Daido Moriyama's Record No. 28 Photography Portfolio

摘要


攝影之目的源自於記錄,以便於提供作品的閱覽,而影像空間構成則來自於構圖類型與內容元素的搭配,讓閱覽者可以知道在按下快門的當下所發生的故事、亦或是創作者所欲傳達的情緒。本稿企圖從攝影藝術家作品中去瞭解影像空間構成與閱覽者的認知趨向,並針對「森山大道」至臺灣所拍攝的《紀錄28號》為對象進行解讀,研究擬定有文本分析尺規做為分析的依據,並透過16位具有攝影常識與設計背景的受調者來進行評估。最後的結果顯示:「對稱、置中、井字、三角、對角線」等構成類型以四種內容元素為搭配,而「三分法、直/曲線、複數」等構成類型則只有三種元素組合。構面認知多是偏向於「孤寂、溫暖、擁擠、緩慢、近景、平視、清晰、快樂與悲傷、以及希望與絕望皆參半」,顯見創作者對於臺灣印象的感性認知與技術手法的呈現。

The purpose of photography is to record and thus to provide works to be read. In image space, composition patterns are matched with content elements, so that readers can know the story that happens when the shutter is pressed or the emotion that the creator wants to convey. This paper attempts to understand the spatial composition of images and the cognitive tendencies of readers from the works of photographic artists, and interprets Record No. 28 taken by "Daido Moriyama" in Taiwan. The study intends to take the text analysis ruler as the analysis basis and to employ 16 respondents with photography common sense and design background for evaluation. The final results show that "symmetrical, centered, octothorpe-shaped, triangle and diagonal" composition patterns are matched with four content elements, while "trichotomous, straight/curve and complex" composition patterns are only matched with three elements. People's cognition tends to be "loneliness, warmth, crowding, slowness, close shot, eye level, clearness, mixture of happiness and sorrow, as well as mixture of hope and despair", showing creators' perceptual cognition towards Taiwan and their expressive techniques.
