學校網站服務品質衡量與滿意度之研究

Service Quality and User Satisfaction Measurement of the Campus Website

摘要


隨著資訊科技的成熟,1990年代學校也開始使用網際網路,建立能共享資源、互通訊息的網路資訊系統,這些透過學校網站存取的資訊系統能讓學校的職員處理行政事務、教師登錄學生成績和缺曠課記錄、學生進行選課作業等等。如同業界一樣,學校也面臨激烈的競爭環境,利用資訊科技所提供的網站服務是提昇校務行政效率的手段之一,但是當更多學校進行行政電子化,推出網站服務時,僅有網站服務不再能區隔學校的優劣,重要的是其服務品質和學生的滿意度。本文目的在瞭解學生對學校網站服務品質良窳之看法,並且讓校方針對調查結果,改善網站各項缺失,以提昇同學之滿意度。本研究檢視過去學者的研究成果,提出學校網站服務的服務品質衡量指標,再利用這些指標進行網站服務品質之實際量測與同學滿意度的檢驗。研究結果顯示,在期望服務水準方面,C校同學對學校網站的「反應性」與「資訊品質」的期望評價偏高,但對於網站的「外觀性」、「隱私/安全性」,以及「易用性」的期望評價偏低;在知覺服務水準方面,同學認為學校網站在「易用性」、「隱私/安全性」與「外觀性」等方面提供了較好的服務品質,但是在「反應性」與「有形性」等方面卻感覺較差,同學的「期望服務水準」與「知覺服務水準」間也存有顯著差異,而同學之期望服務水準都大於知覺服務水準,尤以「反應性」構面之差異最大,校方應盡力消弭此一差距,以提升學校網站服務品質。

Since the birth of the Internet, more and more organizations are using websites to provide direct service or at least information. Due to the huge expenditure on building the websites, directors of the organizations became more concerned with the efficiency on the websites investment. Clearly there has been a profound interest and increasing need to develop tools for the assessment of the website service quality and users' satisfaction. Although it is well developed for measuring the service quality of the traditional services industry, research on user evaluation of website service quality is still in its early stages. The paper focuses on the measurement of the service quality and satisfaction of the campus website, which enable students to select courses, instructors to input students' grades, and staff to operate routine administrative processes. This study identified seven key dimensions of website service quality of the campus by the literature survey and the informal interview of the experts. The derived dimensions are reliability, ease of use, privacy/security, responsiveness, information quality, tangibles and site aesthetics. After a discussion of the operationalization of the service quality construct, the procedure used in modifying, collecting and analyzing data is described. Implications for practice and research are then explored in the last section of the study.
