流亡者的眼睛:易君左《海角天涯十八年》笔下的香港与中华文化——从新兴华语语系文学论述谈起

摘要


关于世界上以华文书写的文学创作及其相关现象,晚近美国学界史书美、王德威新倡“华语语系文学”之说,此一说法实与“中国性”、“文化中国”的检讨有关。对此,史氏从后殖民理论立场着眼,在面对中国文学时有“去中心化”之思考,而王德威则是认为应该纳入中国文学一并讨论,并从“后遗民”的精神结构出发,提出“包括在外”的策略性研究向度。相对地,另一个近似而有异的称谓则是“世界华文文学”,姑且不论这与前者有着意识形态的颉颃状态,但单单以刘登翰的经典著作《华文文学的大同世界》来看,书名标志“大同世界”背后所潜藏的欲望,无疑暗示着不同区域的华文书写,与中国文学之间,实际也存有繁复纠葛的张力关系。大抵,回顾过去有利于省思当下、开展未来,故本文将关注国共对峙、世界冷战状态之下的华文书写情形,并采取以小窥大的讨论方式,选择聚焦著名作家易君左流亡香港所写《海角天涯十八年》,探讨其中所写的香港面向,以及与中华文化的关系,进而反思华文文学论述问题。

"Sinophone Literature" was created by Shih Shu Mei and Wang David Der-wei as a new concept to appraise Chinese literature and matters related to "Chineseness" and "Cultural-China". Shih, who based his ideas from post-colonial theory, wanted Chinese Literature to be decentralized, whereas Wang preferred to have it remain separate by using "Post-loyalist Writing". Wang's proposal was very similar to that of Liu Denghan's "World Chinese literature". Regardless of the obvious different ideology between "Sinophone Literature" and "World Chinese literature", it was reflected that the Chinese writings of different regions have its own identity. The title of Liu Denghan's book "The Great Unity of Chinese Literature" depicted the friction between China and other regions. Yi Jun Zuo's work "Eighteen Years in the Far Corners of the Earth" was reviewed to investigate his writings on Hong Kong and its relationship with the Chinese culture. Through these works, the issue on Sinophone/ Chinese literature was reexamined and discussed.
