失智老人陪伴機器人之華語對話系統

A Mandarin Dialogue System of Companion Robots for Elders with Dementia

摘要


中文摘要 近年來,隨著社會高齡化的趨勢越來越明顯,老人照護問題也越趨嚴重。失智老人則是其中最迫切需要被照護的一群。然而,照護人力的短缺,造成這些人尚未獲得妥善照護。為了解決這個問題,各國都相繼投入照護機器人的研究。 本論文利用rule-base的方法,建立對話陪伴機器人。對話陪伴機器人能利用搜尋關鍵字的方式,比對規則庫,來決定回應內容。本研究將談話的目標設定為老人,尤其是失智老人。由於老人的交談方式與年輕人不同:比起擁有旺盛好奇心的年輕人,老人更傾向於講述自己的故事。因此,作為一個陪伴機器人,要能傾聽並鼓勵老人繼續講;而作為一個陪伴照護機器人,則必須在對話中,察覺老人病情與狀況。本論文目標,即是建立兼顧這兩者的對話機器人。

ABSTACT With the society is aging in Taiwan, the elderly care has become one of the most important issue today. What’s worse, as the shortage of nursing aides, the elderly, especially, the dementias who need the care cannot have the proper assistance. Therefore, to solve the problem, many countries have devoted into the research of “care robot”. In the thesis, the rule-based system has been adapted to build a chatbot. The robot will automatically decide the content of response based on the keywords receiving and searching in the database.. The target group had been set as the elderly, especially the elderly with dementia. Compare to the young people, the elder prefer to talk and desire to be listened. As a result, a successful accompany robot is not only able to listen to the elders carefully but also able to encourage them to speak out more information while a excellent care robot is able to perceive the condition of dementia through the conversation with the elderly at any time. The thesis aimed to create a robot which combine accompany and care to provide a better assistance to the elder and the dementias.
