摘要


過去幾年,單一電感雙輸出(SIDO)切換式轉換器被發現應用於手持式電子裝置上。它的特色是單一電感、雙調節輸出,因而節省成本、大小及重量。當操作在不連續導通模式(DCM)時,藉由二組相互獨立的回授迴路,轉換器上的二顆開關工作是相互獨立地調節雙輸出端。轉換器回授設計在這樣的條件下因而非常像一般單一電感降壓型轉換器(Buck converter)。當它操作在連續導通模式(CCM)時,二組控制迴路交互耦合,因而無法使用一般小訊號模型來模型化。本論文的焦點在發展電壓控制模式單一電感雙輸出降壓型轉換器操作在連續導通模式之回授迴路模型。這模型藉由模擬及實作結果來驗證。在這模型基礎下,提出對於電壓控制模式單一電感雙輸出降壓型轉換器操作在連續導通模式之回授補償設計。這個模型實際地應用在回授補償設計及預測閉迴路性能,其包括:電路的穩定度、電壓及負載調節率。

Abstract-In recent years, single-inductor dual-output (SIDO) switching converters have found applications in hand-held electronic devices. It features single inductor, dual regulated outputs and therefore saves cost and size/weight. When operated in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), the two switches in the converter work independently for the two outputs regulated by two independent feedback loops. The design of the converter feedback under such condition is therefore very much like conventional single-inductor buck converters. When it’s operated in a continuous conduction mode (CCM), however, the two control loops are cross-coupling with each other and therefore cannot be modeled using conventional small-signal model. The focus of the thesis is to develop a model for the feedback control loops for a voltage-mode SIDO buck converter working in CCM. The model was and verified by simulations and experimental results. Based on this model, a method is proposed for the design of the feedback compensation for a voltage-mode SIDO buck converter working under CCM. This model is practically useful in designing the feedback compensation and predicting the closed-loop performances including circuit stability, line and load regulations.
