設計流程品質與強韌性之量化評估

摘要


一個產品的成功與否不僅取決於本身的性能與價格,產品的設計與開發過程中所花費的時間、成本、以及流程的品質與穩定等,更是提升產品在市場上競爭力的重要因素。由於產品設計過程的複雜性與不易量化之特質,使得客觀地評估整個設計流程變成相當困難。本研究以訊號流程圖法為基礎,旨在建立一個設計流程的量化評估架構,嘗試從四個不同的角度來進行評估:亦即時間、成本、品質與強韌性,並建立相關的量化評估指標,再經由電腦模擬程式的輔助,以及業界實際設計程序之應用分析,以驗證此架構的實用性。此種評估方式除了可以提供管理者對於設計流程風險與參數敏感度的相關資訊之外,並可藉此尋求設計程序之改良與最佳化,以為專案工程師在安排或變更設計流程時的依據及參考。

The success of a commercial product depends not only on the fulfillment of design targets but also on the efficiency of its development process. An efficient process generally implies short time, low cost and high quality, etc. However, owing to the complicated nature, it is generally difficult to quantitatively evaluate a design process. Using the theory of signal flow graphs, this research is aimed to establish a framework for the quantitative evaluation of design processes. The process will be assessed from the aspects of time, cost, quality and robustness. This methodology provides a foundation for analytical and numerical simulation of a process and quantitative evaluation indices for comparison. A case study from the industry is simulated to investigate utility and insights that can be acquired from this approach. With the structure and evaluation indices developed herein, it is hoped to provide project engineers with a better tool for further sensitivity analyses and optimization of design processes.
