農機賽伯格拼裝體：臺灣鄉村中女性青農的性別展演

摘要

近年來，臺灣鄉村掀起了一股「女力」浪潮。其中，新進入農業的女性農民特別受到注目，甚至被媒體喻為翻轉、推動農村的柔性力量。然而，當農機中介後，突顯了鄉村女力論述與實踐的斷裂——女性從農不外乎是比陽剛更陽剛，又或是陰柔特質的展現。本研究將提出不同的切路，以「農機賽伯格拼裝體」作為概念主張，探索農機賽伯格拼裝體作為一種性別展演的觀點，描述農機賽伯格拼裝體的日常實踐，期待勾勒出女性青農與農機共同演化與持續形構的關係。

本文採納拼裝體作為方法，經由質性深度訪談與田野觀察採集女性青農的身體經驗，以定位女性青農的處境和探析相關的物質支持。農機賽伯格拼裝體是以身體為本的，納入物質性取徑的關切與社會脈絡的考量，並且強調關係性，有著流動的、拼裝的特質。農機作為技術物延展女性青農的身體能力，改變其與身週環境的連結，也影響其自我觀與社群互動。農機賽伯格拼裝體作為一種性別展演，不但讓鄉村性別腳本的縫隙變得肉眼可見，甚至有鬆動的可能性。觀農機賽伯格拼裝體的日常農機操作實踐，在異質行動者交會時，便會形構異質的農機賽伯格拼裝體。據此，浮現身體與技術物質性的重要性。

總結來說，本研究提出農機賽伯格拼裝體的主張，希望回應「在界線的混淆中尋找歡愉，同時對界線的建構負起責任」。以農機賽伯格拼裝體為理解女性青農與農機關係的起始，得以窺探臺灣鄉村性別腳本的縫隙，更實務地探看農業技術與性別之間辯證的權力關係。

In recent years, Taiwanese young female farmers have changed from ‘invisible farmers’ to key person for transforming rural areas. With a specific focus on agriculture machinery, the aim of the paper is to further assess and develop the discussion of agricultural technologies and the emergence of cyborg assemblage. By exploring the ‘lived body’ and ‘situated knowledge’ of Taiwanese young female farmers, I investigate their everyday tactics and gender performativity.

Based on assemblage thinking, I adopt in-depth interview and field observation as my research methods, and three research questions are explored. First of all, the relationship between Taiwanese young female farmers and agriculture machinery is always in a process of becoming, which deeply affected by the context, the actors, the materiality, and so on. Second, operating agriculture machinery as a gender performativity shows that Taiwanese young female farmers are doing identities which differs from the hidden gender script in rural areas. Hence, cyborg assemblages emerge.
