摘要


智慧型標籤系統(Smart Badge System)為一種低速率(Low Rate)小型無線個人區域網路(Wireless Personal Area Network,WPAN),系統由一個無線網路基地台(Access Point)對各標籤進行一對多傳輸,上下行傳輸為非對等傳輸(下行資料量較大)。 由於現有的MAC層協定中未有能密切對應智慧型標籤系統的協定,最為合乎本系統使用的為IEEE 802.15.4標準,同時也是本論文的主要參考對象,但在系統複雜度及其他應用功能的考量下仍然有很多改進的空間,本論文的研究重點在於設計新的MAC層協定與制定封包格式,並且自行建立模擬器以模擬驗證系統效能。 本論文同時根據各方的研究文獻設置模擬的參數,使模擬能盡量達到實際運作的情況,而電腦模擬的結果也顯示其系統效能為可以接受的,並且可從中找出最適合本論文設計之MAC協定的資料傳輸量,進而瞭解適合應用本系統的場合。

Smart Badge System is a low rate wireless personal area network (LR-WPAN). The system includes an access point (AP) and multiple smart badges. The data transmission methods include uneven transmission rates for download links (AP to badges) and upload links (badges to AP), which the download rate is much faster than the upload rate. Because existing MAC protocols do not suit the needs of the Smart Badge System,designing a new MAC protocol and frame format for the system is the main issue tackled in this thesis. Apart from the issue above, this thesis also constructs a simulation environment for simulating the system performance. The simulation parameters are based on real-world situations researched in past papers. According to the simulation results, we can find the most suitable parameters for system design, and the situations where the Smart Badge System can be applied.
