Due to my personal experience of the food wastage in daily life, it triggered me to think about the possible way to improve it. I thought that I should take advantage of my own working experiences and the knowledges in the business management and the technology to create the possible solution to deal with this pain point. In addition, it is also a protentional good business to provide a service to the people who wants to have a helpful tool to assist their food materials management, and we could make the profit at the same time. I designed the system of iFoodbank which is a platform based on the operation of the smartphone App, and cooperated with some friends to develop the software. This system attracted the attention from some organizations, such as Panasonic Taiwan, RT-Mart, even the EU committee, which shows the value of iFoodbank is not only a good business, but also a good mechanism to the society and the environment.
