Using the 2016 Manpower Utilization Survey and Disabled People's Living Condition and Demand Survey, we estimate the extent of wage discrimination against men with disabilities in Taiwan by Oaxaca decomposition. Compared with the previous study in Taiwan, we control the functional limitations of people with disabilities, to understand whether previous research methods overestimate the extent of wage discrimination. The results show that the extent of wage discrimination among people with functional limitations is not higher than that of the people without functional limitations. There is no evidence to suggest that the former would be overestimated without controlling the functional limitations, so the issue of wage differentials among people with disabilities in Taiwan needs to be researched in more detail to understand exactly the causes of wage differentials.
