背光逆變器控制晶片內高壓電路之分析與設計

摘要


本文探討一用以控制半橋架構之背光逆變器控制晶片,此半橋架構之背光逆變器用來驅動冷陰極管,背光逆變器控制晶片由六個部分組成,分別是啟動電路、震盪器、輸出級、保護電路、控制電路與邏輯電路。 本文分析背光逆變器控制晶片中的高壓電路區塊,解決啟動電路設計上的缺陷,本研究會設計、模擬和佈局啟動電路與輸出級,啟動電路以及輸出級電路利用閘源極耐壓20伏製程實現,針對輸出30伏以下之電源電壓系統,功率電晶體可整合入控制晶片之中以縮小整體系統面積。

This thesis investigates a control IC to control a half bridge backlight inverter. The half bridge backlight inverter is used to drive a CCFL. The control IC of the backlight inverter comprises a start-up circuit, an oscillator, an output stage circuit, a protecting circuit, a control circuit and a logic circuit. The thesis analyzes the high voltage part of the control IC and solves the drawback of the start-up circuit. The start-up circuit and the output stage is designed and simulated. The chip layout is also performed .The start-up circuit and the output stage circuit of the control IC is implemented by maximum gate to source 20V fabricating process. For power supply application with output voltage less than 30V. The power transistor integrated into the control chip could reduce area of whole system.
