家譜是人文研究的重要素材,然而家譜的數量龐大,使用實體紙本家譜的傳統研究方法,需仰賴人工將其中的世系資料一筆一筆畫出,才能看到整體的人物關係結構。在此研究中,我們利用現代的資訊技術,建構出一個能有效率地將珍貴的家譜資源數位化的工具,讓使用者能夠以其建立與檢索家譜中的人物關係與人物資訊,並看到整體世系結構,以期使用者能以此發掘有趣的研究議題。 而每本中國家譜的記述方式大異其趣,因此如何設計一個有彈性的家譜數位化工具,以應對不同的人物記述方式,便於讓使用者發覺家譜資料中的研究問題,是本研究主要探討之議題。 本研究以中文家譜為對象建置出數位化工具,讓使用者能基於家譜掃描文本,建立人物關係、人物資料以及人物與家譜文本圖檔的對應關係,並視覺化出整體世系結構。使用者能隨時以JSON格式匯出資料作為備份之用,並隨時匯入資料繼續編輯。
Genealogy plays an important role in history and humanities studies. However, to trace the family structure in a vast amount of genealogical corpora, it takes researchers a lot of time. In order to solve this problem, we designed and implement a tool for building, editing, and visualizing the genealogical corpora. Users can record the relationships between peoples by this tool, and check the corresponding family tree immediately. The format of each genealogical corpus varies a lot. Therefore, how to overcome the different way written in these corpora, is the key question that we want to figure out the answer in this study. We have designed interfaces to record the information from genealogical corpus, especially the lineage and kinship relations between people. All data in our tool can be exported to a JSON format file for data backup.
