供桌為大溪地區最具代表性的傳統家具。本研究鑑於大溪供桌的產業及製作技術已日趨式微,故由文化資產保存的角度,探究並記錄大溪供桌的演變及製程。 依據文化資產保存法之施行細則解釋,「木作、髹漆、竹木牙雕等」均為足以表現民族及地方特色之傳統技術及藝能;大溪供桌的技法為民族藝術具體而微的表現,其製程經訪查結果,可區分為:(1)產品規劃;(2)材料供應;(3)乾燥作業;(4)木工作業;(5)裝飾作業;(6)塗裝作業。本研究由彙整大溪供桌匠師的訪談結果,提出適切的建議,包括: (1)全民教育以落實文化資產認同與保存;(2)栽培與保障傳統匠師技藝與生存空間;(3)配合觀光產業,舉辦木器DIY及供桌展覽;(4)順應時代發展,創造供桌新面貌。
The altar is representative traditional furniture in Da-Hshi area. Due to the decline of Altar industry and the producing skill, it is the purpose of the article to research and to keep a record the development of Da-Hshi Altar industry in the aspect of cultural preservation. According to the regulations in Preservation of Cultural Properties, “carpentered, lacquer, artistic carving etc.” are described to be as the exhibitions for the ethnic and local cultures. The Altar in Da-Hshi area is similar in skill but smaller for national art in proportions. The procedures of producing Da-Hshi altar include: (1)Product design; (2)Material supply; (3) dry process; (4)Carpentered; (5) Decoration; (6) Lacquer。By resolving the declining Altar industry, the suggestions from the interview of altar craftsman are as follows: (1)overall education to fulfill the preservation of cultural properties; (2) promote and ensure the opportunity of substantial development of sculptor; (3)organize wood DIY and alter exhibition in different cultural festival; (4)renovation of Altar.
