全球競爭環境下之策略類型與企業績效表現---以IR模型為例

摘要

自80、90年代起，全球化的浪潮席捲各國主要企業，全球化所造成的環境變遷與企業經營策略關係，更成為近代管理學中重要討論的議題。開始研究多國籍企業跨國策略對其執行績效的影響，有兩個主要動機；其一，是希望了解不同的全球化策略被企業執行下的結果為何？其二，則是對IR模型的實證結果深感興趣。

本研究所試圖回答的問題包含：（1）在全球整合-當地回應架構（Global Integration – Local Responsiveness Framework）下，全球化策略類型選擇與產業競爭環境差異對企業績效的影響力為何？（2）在全球整合-當地回應架構（Global Integration – Local Responsiveness Framework）下，全球化策略類型選擇與產業競爭環境差異是否會影響企業永續經營的結果？（3）單一產業下，個別企業的全球整合-當地回應程度（企業型態），是否會影響企業績效之結果？ （4）國別因素是否會對產業競爭環境與個別企業之全球整合-當地回應程度造成影響？

本研究之結果則發現：（1）全球化策略類型對企業績效具有長期影響，並符合Ghoshal與Nohria之研究結果。（2）各類型的全球化策略，對企業績效的影響沒有差異。（3）產業競爭環境會部份影響企業整體經營績效。（4）全球化策略與競爭環境一對一組合對績效的影響力，並不足以大到決定企業永續經營結果。（5）全球化策略並不會影響企業永續經營結果。（6）產業競爭環境會影響企業永續經營的結果。（7）產業競爭環境與企業型態的對應組合，不會導致較佳的企業績效表現。（8）國別因素在未來命題，特別是跨國研究中應納入變項。
