營建業專業分工眾多,需大量人力整合彼此間之介面。同樣的,在不同專業軟體間之溝通也是一大問題。因此國際軟體互動聯盟IAI (International Alliance for Interoperability)以建築資訊模型BIM (Building Information Model)的軟體格式,訂定工業基準分類IFC (Industry Foundation Classes)交換標準,以作為營建產業不同軟體之整合基礎,這也是未來發展之趨勢。 以建築資訊模型BIM設計作業是一個很好之模式,主要是3D視覺化的溝通,及參數資料庫的應用。同時也將帶來作業模式及流程重大之改變,換句話說”人”的因素,將是BIM設計作業是否能推展成功之重要因素。 因此本論文嘗試以設計者及專案管理之角度出發,從相關文獻、案例分析,到建築資訊模型BIM設計作業流程、及案例模擬,去探討各環節可能遇到之問題,希望對建築資訊模型BIM設計作業之導入有些微之幫助。
The construction industry involves many fields. Integration of these several interfaces between such fields requires a lot of manpower. In a relative manner, there is a great problem in integrating the different softwares used by these various fields. Therefore the international organization IAI has utilized BIM (Building Information Model) software format and regulated IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) exchange standard as the basis of software integration in the construction industry, consequently setting the trend for any future development. BIM design process is advantageous mainly because it allows for visual communication and database parameter application. It will bring a great change in design methods and procedures. However, in the local industry, the “user” will be a vital factor in determining a successful application of BIM design process. This dissertation has been written in the perspective of a designer or a project manager. It is presented through a methodology of related studies, analysis of certain projects, BIM design process and a case study utilizing BIM design process. The purpose of this dissertation is to demonstrate how BIM design process can be used and aid an enterprise.
