Educoco社群平臺融入問題導向學習對七年級學生閱讀動機與閱讀理解能力之研究

論文提要內容: 閱讀,是各種學習的基礎,也是學習新知不可或缺的能力。本研究旨在探討educoco社群平臺融入問題導向學習對七年級學生閱讀動機與閱讀理解能力之影響。本研究採取準實驗研究法,研究對象為臺北市一間明星國中,七年級兩個班學生共57人,進行每週1節課,為期六週之實驗教學研究。研究設計上,實驗組進行educoco社群平臺融入問題導向學習教學法之閱讀課程,對照組進行傳統閱讀教學法。研究工具包括「閱讀理解能力測驗」及「閱讀動機量表」,於教學前後進行施測。資料分析包括描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定及成對樣本t檢定。研究結果如下: 一、在閱讀動機方面:分析結果為實驗組顯著優於對照組,證實educoco社群平臺 融入問題導向學習教學法,能提升閱讀動機。 二、在閱讀理解能力方面:分析結果為兩組後測成績均顯著優於前測,但實驗組與對照組沒有顯著差異。 三、educoco社群平臺融入問題導向學習教學法在閱讀動機上優於傳統教學法,在閱讀理解能力上,兩種教學方法都有其成效。 根據研究結果,研究者建議閱讀課程之教師可依自己的資訊能力選擇其教學方法是否需融入社群平臺。然而若重視學生學習之動機,建議閱讀課程以問題導向結合社群平臺工具來進行。

Abstract: Reading is the foundation of all kinds of learning and is indispensable when it comes to learning new knowledge. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of educoco community platform integrated with problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method on reading motivation and reading comprehension for seventh graders. This study adopts a quasi-experimental research method. The contributors in this research are 57 seventh graders from two different classes in a star junior high school in Taipei City. There is a reading class for 45 minutes for six weeks for both the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group conducted PBL teaching on the educoco platform while the control group conduct a traditional reading teaching method. Research tools include "Reading Comprehension Test" and "Reading Motivation Scale", which are tested before and after teaching. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, independent sample t test and paired sample t test. The research results are as follows: 1. In terms of reading motivation, the experimetnal group is significantly better than the control group, which shows that the integration of PBL teaching method with educoco community platform can enhance the motivation of reading. 2. In terms of reading comprehension ability, the result indicates that post-test scores of the two groups are significantly better than the pre-test, which means both of the method do good to students’ reading comprehension. However, the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group have no significant difference. 3. The integration of PBL teaching on the educoco community platform is superior to the traditional teaching methd in reading motivation. Based on the results of the research, the researcher suggests that teachers can choose whether their teaching should use educoco platform according to their technology ability and their teaching goals. For those who want to increase students’ reading motivation, it is recommanded that reading courses should adopt problem-based teaching method and community platform tools.
