羅智成詩中的現代主義——以《寶寶之書》、《黑色鑲金》為中心

摘要


羅智成詩作中的文字姿態,與現代主義倡導的「發揮主體性」有其相似性,詩人詩中的自我凝視,放置於個人潛意識裡,再向外拓展至與世界之間的關係,孤獨也頻繁現身於羅智成的字句中。 《寶寶之書》、《黑色鑲金》兩部作品皆加注音、皆為短詩集,並都以100首作結,延續著親密的氛圍。筆者欲集中研讀這兩本詩集,透過文本的評析整理,同時藉羅智成的訪談與詩集中的序、跋、後記等,細品其詩作,追溯影響詩人之現代主義學說,並研究詩集的外在書封、內在文本的符號表徵。《寶寶之書》始於長大、終站於兒童樂園親吻新娘,代表童年的結束,兒童樂園是成年與過往交會的時刻,《黑色鑲金》開啟秘密供奉的黑金美學,經歷詩滅元年,終結在獻祭神祇。《寶寶之書》口吻親暱的向理想讀者傾訴夢境、童話般的場景,到《黑色鑲金》更加直視自身以及文明的毀滅與進程,即使兩者都有「她」的加入仍未削減孤獨的濃度。 現代主義對內心世界的描繪及異化,與羅智成一直以來嘗試的方向不謀而合,本文企圖從外在可見的符號至文字的內涵符碼,一窺現代主義對詩人的影響,深入羅智成趨黑的美學風景。

The texture of the words in Lo Chih-cheng's poetry is similar to the spirit of "giving full play to the subjectivity" advocated by modernism. In Lo’s poems, the poet gazes himself subconsciously and then expands himself outward to build a relationship with the world. Solitude can frequently be found in his words as well. from Letters to My Darling and Blackness Embroidered with Gold are both short poetry collections of 100 poems annotated with Chinese phonetic symbols. In terms of the tone in poems, the intimate atmosphere of from Letters to My Darling is extended in Blackness Embroidered with Gold. In this thesis, I would like to focus on these two poetry collections, analyzing and organizing the texts, and meanwhile using Lo's interviews and the prefaces and epilogues in the collections to examine Lo’s poems in details, trace the theories that influenced him, and study the symbolic representations of the front covers and the text of the two poetry collections. from Letters to My Darling begins with growing up and ends with kissing the bride. The amusement park becomes an intersection of the adulthood and the childhood, marking the end of one’s youth. Blackness Embroidered with Gold presents the esthetics of the secret offering of black gold, which goes through the start of poetry destruction and ends in sacrificing to the gods. In from Letters to My Darling, Lo speaks to his ideal readers with an intimate tone of voice, describing some dreamlike and fairy-tale scenes. On the other hand, Lo looks more directly at himself and the destruction and progress of civilization in Blackness Embroidered with Gold. Even though "she" is present in both books, those feminine figures still do not diminish the intensity of solitude. Modernism depicts one’s inner world and alienates oneself as well, which coincides with the direction that Lo has been trying to take all the time. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to take a glimpse into the influence of modernism on the poet and the esthetic context of his poetry through those visible symbols of the front covers to the connotative symbols of the words.
