本論文針對「美國大學線上學位營運模式在台灣運作可行性之研究」的主題透過以兩個案的研究作為模型的投入要素,經比較分析後輸出研究結果,而資料輸入源於次級資料、問卷調查、個案分析、深入訪談與研究者參與觀察,本研究架構採用MERSI理論的概念與應用MERSI競爭力理論的五大構面(理念、環境、實力、策略、執控)來做營運模式差異點比較,經研究後有以下六點結論: 1.雖受到教育部的網路學分承認限制,如能設計出不同的族群採取不同的營運模式,相信能為未來全面開放的線上學位做好準備。 2.美國大學線上學位在台營運模式需考慮到文化背景、學習差異、師生互動等因素。 3.課程規劃須考量學員英文程度、學員背景、學費價格、學員投入度等因素。 4.吸收營利性大學及非營利性大學的經營優點,去設計適合台灣的國外線上學位。 5.產品線完整可增加市場接受度。 6.學員服務及提供學員附加價值是國外網路大學在台灣發展時要注意的因素。
This study was aimed at“The Feasibility Study of American University Online Program Business Model Operated in Taiwan. It is applied two case studies for the model of input element.Then, getting the result of study after the analysis of research which concluded the input element data from secondary data, questionnaire by the researcher, case study, interview, and the participation of researcher.The theoretical framework that is applied from the MERSI management skills which were included five major elements such as mind, ecosystem, resources, strategy, and implementation as the foundation of the research.The six of results which were listed below: 1.Although the online diploma’s credits is restricted by the Taiwanese education’s school grades acknowledge;Taiwanese online institutions still can make the preparation of the future deregulation of online degree market .if they can design different focus groups to adopt the different business models . 2.To build the successful American online degree program in Taiwan, the business model must consider factors like cultural context, learning style, and learning interaction. 3.the successful curriculum plan must consider the English ability, the student background, the school expense, and participation of classes. 4.The Student service and the addition value are both key factors when the oversea online universities consider to develop it in Taiwan. 5.The completeness of course program can increase market acceptance. 6.The Student service and the addition value are both key factors when the oversea online universities which must be developed in Taiwan.
