遊戲式學習環境暨教學資源編輯系統實作-以棒球卡片遊戲為例

摘要


本研究設計且實作出數位遊戲式之教學系統,希望透過本研究能夠對數位遊戲式的教學系統規劃出一個基本架構,本研究實作系統結合教學資源編輯系統(Course Resource Authoring System)、遊戲式環境之學習系統(Learning System)、對戰遊戲系統(Game System)與卡片讀寫模組(Card R/W Module)等四個單元子系統,提供教學者方便且容易操作之課程編輯環境,並讓學習者能夠在以數位遊戲為介面的學習環境中進行課程學習,最後將學習者之學習成效利用結合無線射頻辨識技術(RFID)與IC卡技術之Mifare Card將其保存,提昇學習者資料之可攜性,學習者可透過個人專屬之Mifare Card登入本研究實作之對戰遊戲系統進行雙人對戰遊戲,有效提昇了學習者對於課程的主動學習動機。 在本研究中,共有40位國小五年級的男、女學生進行學習系統之實機操作實驗,並施以問卷調查,其結果以敘述性統計(Descriptive Statistics)與獨立樣本t檢定(t-test, independent samples)進行分析後,發現學習者對於實作之數位遊戲式的學習系統充滿興趣並有良好的學習成效表現。另外也對15位具有小學教師資格之教師進行教學資源編輯系統的實機操作實驗,並施以問卷調查,經問卷結果分析,教師們對於本研究實作之教學資源編輯系統有良好的評價並給予建議,教師們也希望能夠有完整且方便操作的遊戲式教學系統成為他們在教學上有力的輔助工具。 而透過本研究的實作系統,建構出基於數位遊戲式環境下之教學系統雛形,在課程編輯、學習環境、資料可攜性、與互動式學習上,都能夠透過實驗的量化來予以驗證此系統不但能夠增加學習者的學習興趣與動機,也同時增加了教學者對於數位遊戲式的教學系統的接受程度。

The purpose of this study was to design and implement a game-based learning system, including a two-player contest system, by integrating four sub-systems: (a) Course Resource Authoring System, (b) Learning System, (c) Game System, and (d) Card R/W Module, hoping to provide teachers with a user-friendly interface to edit their curriculum and to provide students with a game-based environment to improve their learning. Additionally, students’ learning results can be saved in Mifare Cards, which utilize RFID technology and IC card technology, to improve the portability of students’ learning results. Students can further use their own Mifare Card to log on to the two-player contest system, which effectively promoted their learning motivation. Forty fifth graders and 15 elementary school teachers participated in this study by using the learning system and completing the questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and independent sample t test were used to analyze the collected data. The results indicated that the students showed great interest in the learning system and therefore had satisfactory learning achievements. Furthermore, most teachers gave positive feedback toward this learning system, expecting a complete game-based learning system which is easily edited to facilitate their teaching.
