國際再生能源與儲能發展視覺化分析

Visualizing the International Renewable Energy and the Energy Storage

摘要


全球正面臨氣候變遷的挑戰,支持能源轉型的聲浪也逐漸浮現,許多國家開始積極發展再生能源。由於再生能源發電有不穩定以及間歇性的問題,故需要仰賴能源儲存技術的配合,來達到穩定供電的狀態。 本論文以視覺化軟體Tableau繪製出的視覺化圖表分析,採用國際再生能源組織、亞洲開發銀行以及武漢新經濟資訊技術研究中心的資料,針對再生能源的裝置容量、再生能源的發電量和容量因子三個指標,探討2009年到2018年間國際再生能源的發展趨勢;針對儲能成本、能量密度以及能量轉換效率三個指標,探討能源儲存技術的發展趨勢。 根據視覺化圖表的結果顯示,再生能源呈現持續成長的趨勢,意味著再生能源發電愈來愈受到重視;儲能成本有下降的趨勢、能量密度和能量轉換效率則呈現上升的趨勢,表示能源儲存技術發展得愈來愈成熟。

The challenge we are facing now in the world is global warming. There are more and more people supporting the energy transition. As a result of it, a lot of countries started to develop renewable energy. Due to the unstable and intermittent problem, renewable energy power generation needs to rely on an energy storage system to stabilize the power supply. This thesis makes use of tableau to draw visualization charts, using International Renewable Energy Agency, Asia Development Bank, and Wuhan New Economy Research Center’s data to analyze the development trend of international renewable energy from 2009 to 2018 and the development trend of energy storage. There are six indicators in the thesis, including renewable energy capacity, renewable energy power production, capacity factor, cost of an energy storage system, energy density, and energy conversion efficiency. As the results shown, renewable energy is growing which means renewable energy power generation has been attracted attention in recent years; cost of an energy storage system is decreasing, by contrast, energy density and energy conversion efficiency are increasing which means energy storage is more and more mature technology.
