摘要

環境污染保險是利用保險將企業因特定環境事故造成的經濟損失轉嫁給保險公司，使污染事故的受害者和企業在污染事故時獲得保險保障。因此，環境污染保險成為政府極力推動的一種保險。為了瞭解企業購買環境污染保險的意願，本研究擬探討制度壓力和環境保護的社會責任對購買環境污染保險的意願的影響。本研究以台灣的油電燃氣業、化學工業、鋼鐵工業、半導體業及光電業為研究對象。採問卷調查潛在污染者購買環境污染保險的意願。最後，我們獲得了 134 個有效樣本進行實證研究。實證結果發現，監管壓力、競爭壓力與購買環境污染保險的意願之間存在正向關係。此外，具備環保社會責任的的企業更願意購買環境污染保險。

Environmental pollution insurance is the use of insurance to transfer the economic losses of firms due to specific environmental accidents to insurance companies, so that victims and firms of pollution incidents can obtain insurance protection under pollution incidents. Therefore, environmental pollution insurance has become an insurance that the government is trying to promote. In order to understand the willingness of firms to purchase environmental pollution insurance, this study intends to explore the impact of institutional pressure and social responsibility for environmental protection on the willingness to purchase environmental pollution insurance. This research takes Taiwan’s oil, electricity and gas industry, chemical industry, steel industry, semiconductor industry, and optoelectronic industry as the research objects. Questionnaire surveys used to understand the willingness of potential polluters to purchase environmental pollution insurance. Finally, we got 134 valid samples for our empirical research. The empirical results found that there is a positive relationship between regulatory pressure, competitive pressure and willingness to purchase environmental pollution insurance. In addition, firms that pay more attention to environmental protection and social responsibility are more willing to purchase environmental pollution insurance.
