The settlement of military veterans has already entered a new stage of independent career selection and independent employment from the stage where the government mainly arranged work for them as in the past. Therefore, employment start-up support and livelihood security will become more and more important in the future. Whether the central government's system for the settlement of veterans can be implemented exactly depends on whether the relevant regulations can be guaranteed at the legal level and whether the local finance can have sufficient funds. It seems unlikely that a relatively large-scale protest will occur in the future, probably because the measures taken after the establishment of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs were effective in preventing large-scale protests. However, unless a bailout mechanism is established, the possibility of protests will continue to exist forever, and the situation that local governments are worried about will not be resolved.
