Switch健身環應用於肌少症族群之成效探討

摘要


背景:肌少症的議題逐步受到各國重視,對於健康所造成的影響是一連串的,如:下肢肌力不足而導致跌倒,可能會造成失能、臥床,甚至提高了死亡率。過去已有許多研究證實藉由運動有助於改善肌耐力功能,其中以阻力運動最為有效。隨著科技技術的進步,運動與高科技結合為體感式遊戲改善對於肌耐力成效是值得探討的,因此本研究目的仍藉由任天堂近幾年的代表性產品《Switch》作為介入工具,透過感應肢體動作進行遊戲的操作,探討其對於肌少症族群之成效。 方法:本研究採類實驗研究設計,針對肌少症年長者進行4週的介入,將13名受測者分為實驗組與對照組,實驗組採Switch健身環做為研究工具,每週3次,每次約30-45分鐘,其中包含2週一次健康促進衛教;對照組則照原先的據點常規活動,無需Switch健身環介入。 結果:實驗組經4週的介入,上、下肢肌力與平衡能力在統計上皆有顯著差異(p< .05);而兩組研究比較統計結果則未達明顯差異。 結論:對於使用Switch健身環作為活動設計工具是可行的,但仍然無法取代實際運動,平時應培養規律運動的習慣及達到飲食營養的 均衡,才能為健康帶來更多的效益。

Background:The issue of sarcopenia has gradually attracted attention from various countries, and the impact on health is a series of effects, such as: the lack of lower limb muscle strength leads to falls, which may cause disability, bedridden, and even increase the mortality rate. In the past, many studies have confirmed that exercise can help improve muscle endurance function, among which resistance exercise is the most effective. With the advancement of science and technology, the combination of sports and high technology to improve the performance of somatosensory games is worth exploring for the effect of muscle endurance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to use Nintendo's representative product "Switch" in recent years as an intervention tool. Sensing body movements to perform game operations to explore its effects on sarcopenia groups. Method:This study adopts an experimental research design, and conducts 4-week intervention for the elderly with sarcopenia. 13 subjects are divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group uses the Switch fitness ring as a research tool, 3 times a week, Each session is about 30-45 minutes, including a 2-week health promotion education; the control group followed the regular activities of the original base without the intervention of the Switch fitness ring. Result:After 4 weeks of intervention in the experimental group, there were statistically significant differences in upper and lower limb muscle strength and balance (p < .05); however, there was no significant difference in the statistical results between the two groups. Conclusion:It is feasible to use the Switch fitness ring as an activity design tool, but it still cannot replace actual exercise. You should cultivate the habit of regular exercise and achieve a balanced diet and nutrition in order to bring more benefits to your health.
