以計畫行為理論探討大學院校學生畢業後投入長期照顧工作意願、認知與態度

College Students' Intention, Perceptions and Attitudes on Long Term Caregivers' Work After Graduation Based on Theory of Planned Behavior

研究背景與動機:本研究主要目的為以計畫行為理論研究大學生畢業後加入照顧服務員就業的意願,及對於照顧服務員工作上認知與態度對其就業意願的影響。 研究方法:本研究使用網路問卷,以大三以上在學生為研究對象進行調查,並且使用 SPSS與用SmartPLS 進行統計分析。 研究結果:分析後發現,填答者之性別女性占57%,教育程度以大三和大四或以上相同(42%),其中管理學院占大多數(58%),填答者是否家裡有家人、親戚擔任照服員為無(94%),是否家裡有家人、親戚因為年老失能需要照顧而雇用過照服員為無(58%),就學期間沒有做過敬老服務或老人社區服務之類的志工或義務工作(64%)。 路徑分析顯示填答者投入意願受到對工作環境特性接受度的影響為顯著且負相關,但是正向認知對工作專業需求社會支持及自我效能則對其投入意願沒有顯著影響。對工作環境特性接受度,則受到傳播效面及人格特質的顯著影響,但是就業市場則沒有顯著影響工作環境特性接受度。正向認知只受到傳播效面的顯著影響。工作專業需求則只受到人格特質的顯著影響。自我效能則受到就業市場的顯著影響,人格特質的影響不顯著。 結論:台灣人口老化嚴重,對照顧服務人員需求殷切,也希望能改善照服員年齡偏高,學歷偏低的情況,因此本研究探討大學在學學生對於照顧服務員就業條件是否能吸引其加入,以及相關影響因素。本研究結果發現只有在學學生了解並肯定照服員工作條件才會增加投入意願,因此建議應開設相關課程,介紹長照及照顧服務的重要性和專業性,期待吸引年輕人新血的加入。 關鍵字:長期照顧、就業意願、工作認知、工作態度、計畫行為理論、 長照薪資

Background:The main purpose of this study is to study the willingness of college students to join the caregivers after graduation, and how their perceptions and attitudes influence their willingness to join. Method:This study recruited the responders from college students beyond third year undergraduate students in Taiwan. They responded their opinions by Google Form. The response data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software and SmartPLS for statistical analysis. Results:After the analysis, it was found that the gender of the respondents accounted for 57% were female. Juniors and seniors occupied the same propotion 42%. Majority of the responders were at the management school 58%. 58% of the respondents have no family and relatives at home who have the experience used care givers’ services before. 94% of the respondents have no family members and relatives who served as care givers. 64% have no experice as volunteer workers in community in their school life. Path analysis showed that the respondent's willingness to join the caregivers after graduation was significantly and negatively correlated with the acceptance of the characteristics of the work environment, but positive cognition had no significant impact on the social support and self-efficacy of the job professional needs. Acceptance of work environment characteristics is significantly affected by communication effects and personality traits, but the job market does not significantly affect the acceptance of work environment characteristics. Positive cognition is only significantly affected by the effects of communication. Job professional needs are only significantly affected by personality traits. Self-efficacy is significantly affected by the job market, and the impact of personality traits is not significant. Conclusion: Taiwan's population is aging fast and the demand for care workers is strong. It also hopes to improve the age of the attendants and the low academic qualifications. Therefore, this study explores whether the job can attract the university students to join the job market of the care workers The results of this study revealed that only students who understand and affirm the working conditions of the care givers’ job will increase their willingness to join. Therefore, it is recommended to introduce relevant courses to introduce the importance and professionalism of long-term care and care services, and look forward to attracting young people to join the new blood.
