染布青萃出物對於大鼠肝臟上皮細胞中胎盤穀胱甘肽硫基轉移酶表現之影響

摘要


在近幾年的國民十大死因中,佔據第一位的死因為惡性腫瘤,而肝癌又在男女性的癌症死因中,分別高居第一及第二位(行政院衛生署 98年死因統計)。因此在現今社會中,如何預防及治療癌症也成為一個重要的課題。 染布青,豆科植物,學名為: Indigofera suffruticosa Mill,為一般熟知的靛藍色染料來源,因此被稱為染布青。 在細胞存活率分析實驗中,染布青萃出物在500 μg/ml以內的濃度,對於大鼠肝臟上皮細胞(Clone 9 cells)並無顯著的毒性反應。在西方墨點法分析實驗中發現,染布青水溶液萃出物、染布青水溶液水層萃出物及染布青乙醇萃水層萃出物,可提升大鼠肝臟上皮細胞(Clone 9 cells)中的穀胱甘肽硫基轉移酶(glutathione S-transferase, GSTs)之蛋白質表現量。

Indigofera suffruticosa Mill is the soure of dye indigo and a perennial Fabaceae shrub plant. The blue indigo is obtained from the extract of its leave. In our studies, MTT assay showed both aqueous extracts and ethanol extracts of the whole Indigofera suffruticosa Mill at 500μg/ml concentration have no toxicity effect on rat Clone 9 cells. In the Western analysis, both aqueous extracts and ethanol extracts of the whole Indigofera suffruticosa Mill can upregulate the expression of Glutathione S-transferase in rat Clone 9 cells.
