The purpose of this study is to investigate how Civic education e-textbooks are used by junior high school teachers in Taipei city. How they want to use e-textbooks, and how they expect to use e-textbooks will significantly influence the satisfaction of using e-textbooks. 88 junior high schools in Taipei were taken as the research objects, and adopted questionnaire investigation as the data collection tool. A total of 262 questionnaires were delivered, and recycled 245 effective questionnaires. All data were input to statistical analysis by using methods of descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, independent sample T test, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product moment correlation. The conclusions were summarized as following: 1. The usage of using Civic education e-textbooks. (1) The current "Usage" of of using Civic education e-textbooks is occasionally used. (2) The "teaching extension function" is the most frequently used, and the "advanced function" is the lowest frequency. 2. The willingness of using Civic education e-textbooks. (1) The "willingness" of the electronic textbook for teaching Civic in the junior high school is presented in the upper-middle level. (2) If the school can provide relevant equipment, it will greatly increase the willingness of teachers to use. 3. The satisfaction of using Civic education e-textbooks. (1) The "satisfaction" of the electronic textbook for the teaching of Civic education etextbooks in the junior high school is moderate. (2) The most satisfied with the students' learning, and assists teachers in teaching is the most dissatisfied. 4. Gender (1) There is no significant difference in the scores of usage, willingness to use and satisfaction of use among different “gender” teachers. (2) Will not cause differences in perception and cognition due to gender differences in teachers. 5. Age (1) Different "age" teachers have significant differences in their usage, willingness to use, and satisfaction in use. (2) Young teachers under the age of 41 are more accepting of new things than older teachers. 6. Service years (1) Different "service years" teachers have achieved significant differences in usage, willingness to use, and satisfaction in use. (2) Older teachers with service years of "more than 10 years", the teaching mode is relatively fixed. 7. Educational level (1) Different "educational level" teachers achieve significant differences in usage and willingness to use. (2) Did not reach significant differences in usage satisfaction. 8. Technology usage (1) Different "technology usage" teachers achieve significant differences in usage and willingness to use. (2) Did not reach significant differences in usage satisfaction. 9. There is a significant correlation between the use of electronic textbooks in civic teaching in the middle school teachers and the satisfaction of use. 10. The willingness of teachers in the middle school to use electronic textbooks in civic science teaching is significantly related to the satisfaction of use. Based on the research results, this study provides suggestions for the publishers, the Ministry of Education, and the junior high schools to develop better e-textbooks in the future.
