運用專利分析方法探討主機板產業之專利布局

摘要

近年來專利訴訟戰爭的號角響起，高科技產業越來越重視其產品專利權分析以利後續布局策略，主機板產業受到中央處理器廠商制定的規格限制之下，更應發展出獨特之產品以與同業進行區隔。再者，根據產業分析報告指出雲端運算與平板電腦的興起下，桌上型電腦與伺服器未來發展將不可小覷。然而目前國內專利分析方法紊亂，並無一定圭臬模式可依循。因此，本研究將提供一專利分析與布局模式有助於解決主機板業者對於研發方向建議與專利布局策略制定。
綜觀目前國內外文獻在專利分析與布局相關研究，專利分析的流程不一，專利檢索策略上未依產業特色進行制定與檢索範圍之疏漏，專利指標選擇多樣化、專利地圖後續可分析的深度過淺與專利布局策略未全面盤點等缺失下，因此本研究將透過文獻盤點方法並搭配專利分析工具的使用，改善上述問題以建構出適用於主機板產業之專利分析與布局策略步驟，期望以此模式提供給業界做為參考及後續研究之依據。

In recent years, patent litigation wars had been occurred frequently. High-tech industries companies inclined to protect product increasingly.Because the central processor vendors dominated the specification, motherboard company should develop unique products to distinguish from other companies. However, patent analysis methods were chaos in domestic and we didn’t have a role model to be followed. Therefore, this study could help to solve the patent issues of motherboard industry and provide recommendations of the R&D direction and the patent portfolio strategy.
Review and Organizing the current literature of patent analysis and patent portfolio at home and abroad.The methods of patent analysis are different from previous methods .The drawbacks of the patent search strategy didn’t correlate to industrial features and missed some key feature of patent search. Patent indicators also were varied. The patent map analysis is simply and patent portfolio strategy don’t collect completely.So this study used documentary analysis method and patent analysis tools to solve these problems.The major object was construct a useful patent analysis process and patent portfolio steps.The motherboard industry could follow the model for follow-up study.
