Nowadays, technology and aesthetic interactions have gone into a pattern of mutual influence. Design with functional interaction and aesthetics has a meaning of innovation, such as smart phones that go with multi-function and great convenience impress us a great deal. Moreover, the development of technology has changed the way people interact among people. The more we use technology products, the more distant our relationship will be. So, that how to look for the subtle interactions between human beings and technology will be everything in my study. In the study we think slow technology can be found by experiencing aesthetic interactions, and in some certain circumstances it will not only rouse the memory of the amusement in our lives, but also inspire users’experiences and imagination. An existing design case that proves new design ideas can be seen in my study. They are “Interaction relabeling”, a design method to explore aesthetic interactions, and “slow technology”, a design direction. Both are to emphasize the reflection and emotional perception toward technology products. From design to proof of real examples, with product development we can add aesthetics interactions into the design concept and use “relabeling” to create an additional amusing interaction for daily necessities without changing a bit its appearance and features. By doing this users can have new feelings and experience too.
