本研究主要研究台灣廣播產業環境及其競爭力,民國82年起台灣廣播頻道開放,現有168家在空中播送節目服務閱聽大眾,但開放之後伴隨而來的狀況,是讓廣播進入一個高度競爭的狀態。除電臺間的相互競爭外,還受到無線、有線電視台、網路及行動通訊等新興大眾傳播媒體競爭,分食著傳統廣播賴以維生的廣告預算,並影響著廣播電臺的營運環境,唯有找出廣播電臺的競爭優勢強化其競爭力,才能讓廣播產業得以永續經營與發展。 本研究探討廣播電台如何在激烈競爭與快速變動的環境下,藉由產業分析之SWOT及波特五力分析法等建立競爭優勢、並且歸納影響電台競爭優勢的各項因素,期望能提供業界在面對未來的競爭時一些參考。
The main scope of this research is to study the environment of the radio broadcasting industry in Taiwan as well as its competitiveness. Taiwan’s government has opened up the application for establishing radio channels since 1993. It ceased the monopoly of the broadcasting market and prompted the competition for the commercials in the media of broadcast. The evolution of television, internet and mobile telecommunication, the broadcasting industry also started to change the previous operation strategies in order to face the challenges. In this case study, development stages was determined based on several external environmental criteria identified, via analysis methods of SWOT and Porter five forces. The competing strength of the enterprise in facing today’s rapidly challenging environment was also discussed.
