軟氮化對模具鋼NAK80沖蝕磨耗特性之影響

摘要


隨著工業技術之發展,模具在生產上扮演很重要的角色。但是由於產業之激烈競爭,較長壽命之模具往往是影響競爭力之重要因素,故選擇具有優良性質之模具材料,成為非常重要之課題。本研究以模具鋼NAK80做為氮化的基材,因為其硬度並不高(約Hv 400),故當NAK80應用在射出成形模具之模仁與模穴,其耐磨耗性明顯不足。所以利用Tufftride鹽浴式軟氮化法於基材表面產生氮化層,目的在改善表面硬度及耐磨耗性,並有效的提升模具壽命。對試片進行沖蝕及耐磨耗之實驗,並利用GDS、SEM等分析儀器進行材料成分、結構分析與顯微分析,比較軟氮化處理前後所造成之影響,探討NAK80經軟氮化後之沖蝕磨耗特性。由於模具在使用時受到連續不斷的衝擊與磨耗之作用,此為造成模具壽命減短之主因。故考慮模具壽命之長短,可由模具鋼承受沖蝕磨耗實驗顯現之耐沖蝕磨耗性質,作為選擇較優良模具材料之依據。

With the industrial technique development, the mold plays an important role on production. Due to the competition is intense for the mold selection, the higher use-life mold is preferred to select for the applications. In this study, mold steel NAK80 was used for nitriding substrate because this material has low hardness about Hv 400. This is to be a bad erosion resistance when NAK80 was used as core and cavity of injection mold. To improve its surface hardness and erosion resistance, we use Tufftride salt-bath nitriding method to generate nitriding layer that can raise the life of mold. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and glow discharge spectroscopy (GDS) were applied to correlate the microstructural features to the erosion properties attained. We can choice the better mold material depend on this investigation
