全球網路電信局計費系統之設計與實作

摘要


由於多媒體語音傳輸的日漸普及,使得網路電話連結一般市話(PSTN)與行動電話演變成電信服務中重要之研究課題。在連接一般市話與行動電話等電信系統時,如何正確地收、拆帳與便捷的付款機制則是計費系統的一大重點。有鑑於此,本論文實作了一套計費系統,可支援多種費率與網頁付款等功能。同時為了維護系統之正常運作,本論文亦研究系統之備援機制。 為了符合企業的經銷模式,本論文除了支援國際標準協定,並提出一全新概念的計費系統,稱為階層式計費系統(Hierarchical Billing System, HBS.),此系統為彈性多層架構並具有簡化管理複雜性、增加帳務明確性與廣泛適用性等的特點。 由於此計費系統實際運作於公眾網路(Public Network)環境下,如何有效且安全地交換使用者之個人資料是相當重要的課題。因此,論文中改良MD5標準協定與RADIUS訊息傳送之加密方式,提升系統安全性。

The billing system for IP-based telecommunication system is researched and implemented in this thesis. Three subsystems included RADIUS processor, hierarchical billing system(HBS), and modified MD5 algorithm are employed to achieve the high-performance, rigid-security, and management friendly system. In the RADIUS processor, the RADIUS-based interface is designed for the compatible issue on billing system. Moreover, three sub-functions included multiple charging rate, multiple gateway routing, and CDR generating are also added. In the MD5 processor, the security mechanism of MD5 standard and the encryption method of RADIUS message transformation are modified and enhanced. Moreover, the distribution system structure and backup mechanism are also be researched and implemented. In the HBS architecture, the hierarchical billing system is implemented for the market and management issues.
