公眾無線區域網路計費系統之設計與實作

The Design and Implementation of Billing System for Public Wireless Local Area Network

摘要

近幾年來，無線網路技術發展逐漸成熟，產品價格下降，無線產業開始蓬勃發展。隨著無線網路的日益發達，安全可靠的認證模式和付費機制也變得格外重要。以往的ISP在有線網路中扮演的角色將轉換到無線網路，提供使用者安全的認證(Authentication)、授權(Authorization)和計費(Accounting)。本論文設計了計費伺服器(Billing Server)、認證伺服器(Authentication Server)和遠端認證伺服器(Remote Authentication Server)，來實作公眾無線區域網路(PWLAN)的認證、授權和計費服務。在實作中，我們整合了一些Linux上的資源，包含了Bridge、DHCP、NAT、MySQL、Apache、SSL Server，運用PHP和Perl來做資料處理。

Wireless commerce is prospering because wireless technology is gradually mature, and the products are cheaper and cheaper these years. As the wireless LAN’s prosperity, the reliable authentication and billing mechanism become more important. The role ISP played in the past provided authentication, authorization, and accounting services in safety, and now ISP must also provide these services in wireless LAN. In this thesis, we design and implement the authentication, authorization, and accounting services in public wireless local area network by using Billing Server, Authentication Server, and Remote Authentication Server. In our implement, we integrate some resources on Linux, including Bridge, DHCP, NAT, MySQL, Apache, SSL Server, and we process data by using PHP and Perl.
