奈米有機材料之研究

摘要


奈米複合材料所加入的蒙脫土必須逹到剝離的狀態,才能使物性逹到最佳的狀態,本研究利用自由基不終止聚合反應,合成出4-(N,N-Diethyldithiocarbamylmethyl)benzyltrimethylammonium作為我們蒙脫土pk-802的改質劑,使蒙脫土達到剝離的狀態,再以FTIR、X-ray、GPC及拉伸性質研究其物性及鑑定。黏土的剝離變數很多,本研究改變三十幾種變數,如不同的水含量、不同的溶劑含量、不同的單體,以探討不同的加工條件對物性的影響。另外本研究將Clay加入PS及ABS後,研究其機械性質。

This research is divided into 2 parts. The first part is to investigate the clay exfoliation. The living free radical polymerizations are used to modify the surface. The clays are modified by different methods. They are water contents, solvent contents and duration of heat treatments. It is found the solvent play an important rule in the exfoliation of clays. The second part is to investigate the nanoclay polymer composites. The living free radical polymerizations are used to exfoliate the clay. It is found that PS-Clay and ABS-Clay nanocomposites show increase in the tensile strength.
