由於全球暖化與氣候變遷,如何有效地使用與節省電力能源,近年來,已成為一個非常值得研究的議題。隨著石化能源使用氾濫,在國際油價不斷的攀升下,電價也將面臨到調漲的問題,因此家庭/建築能源管理系統逐漸受到大家重視。 有效地使用與節省家庭電力能源,用戶才能降低電費支出並達到節能減碳的效果。本論文旨在於開發以ZigBee無線感測網路與PLC電力線網路為基礎之「家庭能源管理系統平台」(Home Energy Management System, HEMS)。各家電上裝置量測控制模組蒐集相關負載用電資訊,經由有線或無線通訊網路傳輸至家庭閘道器(Home Gateway)。同時,用戶可藉由家庭網路電視(Smart TV)作為In-home Display選取所欲觀看之指定期間之相關負載用電資訊顯示及控制家電之狀態。用戶使用所研發之家庭能源管理系統可以顯示並監控家電負載以了解用電資訊並改變自身之用電習慣;同時,期望使用者最終能達到「節能減碳」及「降低電費支出」等目標。
In recent years, how to use and save energy effectively has become an important issue which is worth of studying and researching due to global warming and climate change. With large amount of petrochemical energy usage, international oil price has increased dramatically recently. The electricity price will also face the same problem. As a result, the home/building energy management system is gradually being recognized as an important equipment for energy conservation. The objective of this thesis is to develop a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) which is based on ZigBee wireless sensor network and Power Line Communication techniques. Energy consumptions of various home appliances are collected and transmitted to Home Energy Management System by wired or wireless communication networks. The energy consumptions and status of appliances can be accessed through Smart TV that is served as an In-Home Display. The home energy management system is able to show and monitor the energy consumptions and status of household appliances in order to obtain the electricity information. Based on the information, people may change their living habits in order to conserve electricity and reduce carbon emissions.
