本研究以大專院校之垃圾分類設備為改善目標,觀察大專院校垃圾桶使用用現況,發現垃圾很容易滿出來,且滿出來的垃圾易散落於地上,破壞校園環境景觀。因此,本研究之目的是以「學生族群」為考量要點,提出垃圾桶之設計規範,來滿足學生的使用需求與改善校園環境清潔。 為達此研究目的,本研究觀察學生之使用習慣與校園垃圾桶擺放之情形,測量每日教室的平均垃圾容量與重量、並以訪談法找出工讀生清理垃圾時的困擾與使用者丟垃圾時所遇到的問題,綜合上述之結果,接續利用問卷調查,瞭解使用者對垃圾桶之使用偏好與意見,並從問卷調查結果歸納出垃圾桶之設計規範與方針,作為改善垃圾桶使用性之參考。最後,以歸納出之設計規範為準則,進行概念設計,並以問卷調查,瞭解使用者對於概念設計之評價,以驗證本研究所提出之設計規範。 本研究結果有幾點建議如下:1.未來規劃垃圾桶容量大小可以參考每日教室平均垃圾容量。2.加強色彩應用以提升辨識垃圾分類種類之方便性。3.垃圾桶分類標示應以文字加圖示為佳4.進行垃圾桶設計時,應優先考量手會不會觸及垃圾桶、丟垃圾的方便性與辨識垃圾分類種類之方便性。5.垃圾桶開口之設計,平常為小開口,必要時可以調整成大開口為佳。
The research is concerned with trashcan of colleges. The goal of the research is to propose guidelines for designing the appropriate trashcans, to meet the needs of college students. The research, first observes the habits of students using the existing trashcan in colleges, then makes a survey of the usibility and requirement of the trashcan, and also applies the standardized interview. The results of the research offer the guidelines for the appropriate trashcan design. At last, do concept design according to the guidelines, then by means of questionnaire approach to findout the appropriate design. Some recommendations are made as follows according to the outcomes of the research: 1. To Set the capacity of a trashcan according to the average volume of trash of a classroom per day. 2. To enhance the convenience of distinguish the classification of trash by strengthen the application of color. 3. The classification sign of trash should include text description and icon. 4. To design trashcan should particularly concern about ‘will hands touch trashcan while throwing trash’, ’the convenience of throw trash’ and ‘the convenience of distinguish the classification of trash’. 5. The opening of a trashcan should be a small opening ordinarily, but if necessary, it can adjust to be a big one.
