利用雙重放大式光放大器之CATV系統傳輸性能研究

摘要


在光通訊系統中,光放大器已經成為一個補償信號耗損不可或缺的元件。訊號光可以經由光放大器直接在光域中被放大,不需要經由光電轉換成為電信號後再放大,如此方式不僅可以降低系統成本及提高可靠度,同時也能提昇傳輸訊號品質。而摻鉺光纖放大器則是其中一種利用摻鉺光纖中之泵激非線性效應來放大光訊號之光放大器,其具有高放大增益、高輸出光功率及增益不受極化方向影響。 本篇論文提出一C-band 雙重放大式摻鉺光纖放大器及進行光放大特性分析,並將光放大器應用於CATV傳輸系統進行傳輸特性探討,預期能獲得最佳有線電視傳輸品質。首先,我們利用一光循環器(Optical Circulator)、一1480 泵激雷射(Pump Laser)、一15 m 長摻鉺光纖、一分波多工耦合器(WDM Coupler)及一C-band波段之反射器(Reflector),架構出一C-band 雙重放大式摻鉺光纖放大器。其次,將此雙重放大式摻鉺光纖放大器放到傳統CATV傳輸系統,進行長距離傳送有線電視訊號可行性探討。最後,我們比較利用C-band 雙重放大式摻鉺光纖放大器CATV傳輸系統及傳統CATV傳輸系統於50 Km及100 Km傳輸距離,分別探討:載波雜訊比(CNR),二次合成差拍比(CSO),三次合成差拍比(CTB)等特性。

Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier whether one kind of them is it mix pump, Erbium-Doped defy non-linear effect is it amplify all news light of number amplifier to come to utilize, it amplifies and gains, output all power and gain and is free of polarized direction high. This page thesis proposes a C-band double amplifying type mixes the Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier and only amplifies characteristic analysis, and apply the optical amplifier to CATV transmission system and transmit the characteristic discussion, it is expected that can obtain best obtain best CATV transmission quality. First of all, we utilize a only circulating device (Optical Circulator) , a 1480 nm pump defies laser (Pump Laser) , a 15 m mixes the erbium optic fiber, many worker's couplers of a point of waves long (WDM Coupler) And a reflector of C-band wave band (Reflector) ,A C-band double amplifying type appears to mix the Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier in the structure. Secondly, the Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier is put to traditional CATV transmission system to mix this double amplifying type, convey the feasible discussion of cable TV signal at a long distance. Finally, we relatively utilize C-band double amplifying type to mix the Erbium-Doped Fiber amplifier CATV transmission system and traditional CATV transmission system and transmit the distance in 50 km and 100 km, probe into separately: Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (CNR), Composite Second Order (CSO), Composite Triple Beat (CTB) Wait for the characteristic.
