一個網站應用程式開發的視覺化語言

A Visual Language for Web Application Development

摘要


在開發網站應用程式(Web Application)時,最常見的方法是使用類似PHP、JSP或ASP等腳本語言(Script Language)開發,但是這些腳本語言都需要一定的學習門檻,並且不容易使用,因此若能將視覺化語言(Visual Language)應用在網站應用程式的開發,便能降低網站應用程式的複雜度,使得開發更容易、更有效率。就網頁的應用而言,過去有研究提出VisualTPL (Visual Table Presentation Language)視覺化表格呈現語言,針對報表及畫面的製作有很強大的功能,而且可以讓使用者自定運算,但是,VisualTPL是專為報表開發而提出的語言,所以並不適用於開發完整的網站應用程式。本論文延伸VisualTPL在視覺化語言上的優點,提出一套新的視覺化網站應用程式開發語言(Visual Web Application Development Language),使得網站應用程式開發者,能使用視覺化語言開發網站應用程式,以降低學習門檻,並提昇系統開發的能力與生產力。

並列摘要


While developing Web applications, script languages such as PHP, JSP and ASP are frequently used. But, these script languages are difficult to learn and not easy to use. Therefore, if a visual language can be applied for developing Web applications, the complexity and difficulty of programming would be greatly reduced, and programmers will be more efficient to work as well. In the past, a research related to Web applications had raised "VisualTPL" (Visual Table Presentation Language) which was good at presenting database reports and allowed programmers to create new operations of their own. However, VisualTPL was designed for report generation, not for developing a complete Web application. In this thesis, by extending the capability of VisualTPL, we propose a new visual language that is easier to learn and more productive for Web application developers.
