在印表機已經朝向高速列印以及精密定位發展的現階段中列印品質的良窳,將會是使用者用來判斷是否購買的指標之一。一般用於決定列印品質好壞的標準包括:列印速度、可靠度及穩定性。對可靠度及穩定性有著直接影響的因素之一就是取紙機構之性能。因此,要達到順利取紙且高列印品質的要求,印表機之整個取紙機構之設計,就顯得相當重要。 本研究中針對目前市面上販售之印表機進紙機構及其相關之專利,進行分析與比較,了解其設計重點、作用原理及優缺點。同時針對現有印表機取紙機構常見問題從運動力學與運動學的觀點,分析取紙滾輪的作用力與承板的配合運動,做為合成設計一個維持定值滾輪作用力與定值承板角度之機構的依據,提出改善對策以提昇效能。其設計主要是利用導槽的方式,使達到載紙承板維持平移運動,使取紙滾輪維持定值的取紙角度,並且能使取紙滾輪維持近似定值的取紙正向力。之後,並製作原型機,進行實際測試及改良,以驗證此新型取紙機構能符合經濟效益、最佳列印品質之效果,證實具有較佳的取紙功能,因而可提高列印品質。
The trend for the design of a printer has been toward high speed and high precision. The quality of printing has become the main criteria for the consumer to choose a printer. The factors related to printing quality include printing speed, reliability and stability. The dominant factor to the reliability and stability, however, is the function of paper pick-up mechanism. Therefore, the design of paper pick-up mechanism is very important for a printer to have good quality of printing. In this study, firstly, the pick-up mechanisms from the available printers and patents are analyzed to understand its advantages as well as disadvantages. The force of the pick-up roller and the coordinating motion of the pressure-plate are the focus of the analysis. The result of the analysis is the main guideline for the new design in order to improve its printing quality. Then, a new mechanism of maintaining a constant angular position of pressure-plate and a near constant pick-up force of pick-up roller has been developed. Its design includes a curved slot to allow the pressure-plate maintain a constant angular position and near constant pick-up force. The feasibility of this design has been verified through OneSpace Designer software and its prototype as well. The prototype also shows better results than that of the current printers in picking paper; therefore, it does improve the quality of printing.
