摘要


無線通訊產業的蓬勃發展,為了維持好的通訊品質與減少干擾,本論文設計製作適用於IEEE 802.16的頻段(2.505GHz至2.535GHz)波束切換式陣列天線系統,波束切換式陣列天線產生的波束具有提高系統增益及精準方向控制性,其可選擇所需要的波束傳送及接收訊號。波束切換式陣列天線是屬於智慧型天線系統的其中一種方式,可以提高訊雜比(SINR),降低其他的干擾雜訊信號,進而提升系統通訊品質。 在本論文實作的波束切換天線系統,其結構包含了天線和改良式巴特勒矩陣構成。在改良式巴特勒矩陣構成的饋入網路部分,從原始的巴特勒矩陣架構加以改良,成為新的巴特勒矩陣架構,探討使用可以使用多種角度切換。由於可以選擇不同的輸出角度與巴特勒矩陣配合使用,在輸出波束角度上更加靈活。在天線部分,以四個全向性天線相距半波長距離來構成天線陣列,配合巴特勒矩陣饋入網路。 由實際量測所得到明顯的四個方向的波束,而且改良後的巴特勒矩陣可以更靈活的切換所需的角度,以符合所模擬的理想全向性天線陣列場型。

Abstract In order to improve the performance of wireless communication system, this thesis implements a switched-beam antenna array which operates at the frequency band of 2.505GHz~2.535GHz. Switched-beam antenna array is one of the smart antenna systems. It can select the appropriate radiation pattern to transmit and receive signals. Thus, the switched-beam antenna array can reduce the interference caused by multipath signals, enhance the SINR and improve the performance of wireless communication systems. The structure of switched-beam antenna array implemented in this thesis contains an antenna array and a feed network composed by the Bulter matrix. We improve primitive Bulter matrix with new design which uses less couplers. The antenna spacing is . is the wave length of the propagation wave. In addition, Butler's matrix can be used to form different radiation pattern. According to the measurement result, the measured radiation pattern of the implementation antenna array is matched with ideal radiation pattern of the antenna array.
