應用於非對稱式數位用戶電話線之反覆式多使用者功率控制的性能評估與改進

摘要


串音干擾是數位用戶電話線(Digital Subscriber Line, DSL)性能上最主要的限制。多使用者功率控制演算法可用來對抗串音所造成的影響,目前最好的分散式多使用者功率控制(distributed multi-user power control)演算法是反覆式填水(Iterative Water-Filling, IWF)演算法。本篇論文主要是改進應用於非對稱式數位用戶電話線(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line, ADSL)的反覆式填水演算法。實驗結果證實,在非對稱式數位用戶電話線的下行傳輸情況下,本篇所提出的方法可提升速率範圍與收斂速度,最高可高出約50%與77%。

Crosstalk is the main limiting factor in DSL systems. Multi-user power control algorithms can be used to combat crosstalk degrading effects. The best ever known distributed power control solution is Iterative Water-Filling (IWF). In this paper improve the performance of IWF in an ADSL system. Simulation results in a downstream ADSL scenario the modifications can outperform rate region and convergence speed of IWF by up to 50% and 77%.
