目前變風量系統通用上,一般多採用變頻風機之空調箱,於低負載時減少送風量而達到節能目的。台灣地區中央空調卻多用風機盤管(fan coil unit, FCU)系統,為達節能目的,目前已有廠商為FCU開發直流無刷馬達無段變風量系統送風機。如今變風量系統技術已達成熟階段,而在過去的資料中尚無人將實際之變風量系統與動態模擬軟體作進一步之分析比較,以及針對AHU和直流無刷馬達無段變風量送風機作各設備之耗能分析。本研究中收集了變風量系統整年的耗電資料庫,並針對某一天之耗電量做詳盡之耗能分析,以及針對AHU和FCU, 兩種不同變風量系統,作一比對。使用在空間及人員、設備皆相同之負載量,比較出此兩種變風量系統之設備上使用差異性,以及評估耗能上之變化,結果得出,欲將使模擬軟體更具準確性,需將變風量設備之風機曲線輸入軟體中,則誤差可在10%以下,可見此軟體之準確性高。以所用之案例,FCU變風量系統與VAV 空調箱相比,整體建築之年耗電顯著減少,而單以送風耗能作比較,直流無刷馬達無段變風量盤管與VAV空調箱比較,會比VAV節省了68%的風機耗電,而由於改用風機盤管系統,須加上多餘的水管路,而增加了泵浦之耗電量,則整年空調相比之下,使用風機盤管系統可節省17%的總空調耗電量。 由此可知,直流無刷馬達無段變風量用於風機盤管,具有甚大之節能潛力。
Presently air handling units (AHU) are commonly used in variable air volume to save fan energy by reducing air volume during partial load. However, fan coil unit (FCU) systems are used widely in central air-conditioning systems in Taiwan. The industry has developed FCU using direct current brushless (DCBL) motor in order to save energy. Although the applications of variable air volume (VAV) technology have become popular, there were not much analytic comparisons between actual energy consumption of VAV systems and computer dynamic simulation. Energy use comparison of VAV systems between AHU and DCBL also has not been done in the past. This study collected and analyzed the annual energy consumption database of a VAV system in detail. A detailed comparison between the two different variable air volume systems was also conducted. The differences between the equipment and the energy consumption of these two variable air volume systems were evaluated under similar conditions. Computer dynamic simulation using the performance curves of VAV equipment was found to be within 10% of the data collected in actual applications. It was found that as a whole the VAV fan coil unit system can save significant amount of building energy annually, as compared with the VAV air handling system. When compared only the air system, DCBL motor variable air volume fan coil unit system can save energy by 68% annually, compared to the VAV air handling system. In this study, the use of FCU system is considered with extra water pipe length, which increases the pump energy consumption. FCU system was found to be able to save 17% of annual air-conditioning energy consumption. According to the aforementioned, it can be concluded that DCBL motor fan coil unit system has a great potential for energy saving.
